It’s good to have questions when it comes to your financial future. We’ve made things simple for you by providing answers to our most common queries.

Where are meetings held?

Meetings are held in our office, in your home or a mutually convenient location.

Do you have parking?

Paisley Office – There is a car park across the road from us on Stow Street. We are a short walk from Canal railway station and near to Gilmour Street station.

 

Clarkston Office – There is on-street parking near the office. There is also a private car park above the shops on Busby Road. Clarkston station is also a short walk from our office.

Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?

No, the initial meeting is at our expense, and you are under no obligation to appoint us.

How long should I allow for an initial meeting?

Please allow one hour.

Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?

No, this is a no-obligation meeting and there is no pressure to sign up.

Are you independent?

Yes, we are independent.

Are you regulated?

Yes, we are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. You can find us on the FCA register here.

What happens if my financial planner is away on holiday?

Other members of the team, including advisers, are allocated to look after you.

Do you take a percentage or are your fees fixed?

We charge fixed fees for initial work and then a percentage for ongoing advice.

Do you get commission?

Yes, but only on insurance-based products such as life insurance, critical illness and income protection. In every other circumstance we charge a fee instead of receiving commission.

Do you charge VAT?

No.
