The easiest way to understand our fees is to see them at work. Here are three examples of what people pay depending on how far they choose to go with us. Everyone starts the same way, with a Discovery Meeting at our expense.

Margaret, 58, has a couple of old pensions and wants to know if she could afford to retire early. She comes in for a Discovery Meeting to talk it over.
We listen to what she wants and explain how we work. Margaret decides she would like some time to think before going any further, which is fine by us.
The Discovery Meeting is always at our expense and there is no obligation to go ahead. The door stays open for whenever she is ready.
David and Susan, both 55, want an answer to one question: can we afford to retire when we want to? After their Discovery Meeting, they ask us to build their financial plan.
We go through their finances in full, model their future and set it all out in a written report. As it happens, what they already have is suitable and they do not need to change anything right now.
A fixed fee, agreed before we started. They now know where they stand and have a plan to follow, and we did not sell them anything they did not need.
Andrew and Helen, both 63, are coming up to retirement with £750,000 between them. They ask us to build their plan, put it in place and look after it for the long term.
The one-off fees can come from their investments or be paid directly. The implementation figure is the most they would pay under our standard scale, and the written quote may well be lower. Their ongoing fee is about £469 a month between them and rises and falls with the portfolio. There is no tie-in.
These examples show how the charges work in practice. Your own situation will be different, and we will always put your exact fees in writing before you commit to anything.
